Felon arrested selling pot near a school, also possessed loaded firearm
The St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit (DTU), comprised of Officers from the Sheriff’s Department, Belleville Police, Cahokia Police and Fairview Heights Police, conducted an undercover operation into allegations of cannabis being sold from 961 Belle Valley Drive, Apartment G, Belleville. The apartment complex is within 1,000 feet of an Elementary School. During the course of the investigation a search warrant was obtained through the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office and signed by a St. Clair County Judge.
On 12-28-07 at about 1200 hours the Belleville Police Tactical Response Team executed the search warrant at 961 Belle Valley Drive, Apartment G, Belleville. Members of the DTU and Belleville Patrol Division provided perimeter security during the search warrant execution. A safe entry was made into the apartment and three subjects, two males and one female, were taken into custody and transported to the St. Clair County Jail. DTU conducted a search of the residence and the following items were located: Black Taurus 9 MM semi-automatic pistol (loaded), live bullets, unspecified amount of currency, “pot” pipes, cannabis grow lab containing 5 plants, dried cannabis and seeds, over 130 pills (controlled), and a weighing scale.
Subsequent to the investigation conducted by the Belleville Officer assigned to the DTU the following subject was charged on 12-29-07:

The St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charged him with UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF WEAPONS BY A FELON and UNLAWFUL POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DELIVER CANNABIS WITH 1,000 FEET OF A SCHOOL (BelleValley School). He is currently being held in the St. Clair County Jail on $100,000.00 bail.
The female and second male was not charged with crimes in relation to the search warrant however Doralo McGee’s wife:

is being held in the St. Clair County Jail for a warrant out of Clinton County for RESISTING ARREST. Her bond is $3,000.00.
Capt. Johnson said, “This investigation was only successful due to the multi-jurisdictional approach taken by the Belleville Police Department and the St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit. Working together we arrested a convicted felon who possessed a loaded firearm and sold cannabis dangerously close to a school where our children go to learn everyday.”
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
