Investigators at the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department are hoping someone has seen a convicted sex offender who failed to register his new residence with police.
Christopher T. Bradley, 22, a convicted child sex offender, has been charged by the St. Clair County State's Attorney with failing to notify of a new address and failing to renew his address.
Investigators have been looking for Bradley since the beginning of June, after he was told by police to move from the MidAmerica Inn at 1651 Old State Route 158 in unincorporated Belleville.

Bradley was required to move after St. Clair County Investigator Matt Jany measured the distance from the MidAmerica Inn to a children's playground on Scott Air Force Base and discovered the location was less than 500 foot from where Bradley was living. Convicted child sex offenders are prohibited from living closer than 500 feet to any school, playground or daycare center.
According to court documents, Bradley was convicted in 2008 of failing to register as a sex offender. He was convicted in 2007 of a sex offense involving a child.
"We told him he had to move some where else," said Capt. Steve Johnson. "But, he was supposed to tell us where he was going to move. We have been looking for him for some time and have been unable to find him."
Bradley's bond has been set at $60,000.
Anyone with any information about Bradley's whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department at 277-3500 or contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
